Summary

The next chapter is titled “What Frankie Didn't Confess." It opens with a list of things that she did not confess. For example, she talked to Sam and that she wants to do more than talk. The things she does confess is that Toni has been moved into Frankie's dorm and “should be sent to Germany to spy for America because ten minutes in a room with her would be enough to crack Adolf like an egg” (117). Toni saw Frankie give the note to Sam and questions her about it during an outing with Sister Bert. Frankie, remembering all the things she did not confess, asks Loretta if she confesses everything.
