Gold Coast Prep

Gold Coast Prep is an elite boarding school in Gold Coast. The school overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is attended by the wealthy children of extremely wealthy students. Almost everyone is white, and hardly anyone is on a scholarship. The administration looks the other way so that the secret society, the Players, can thrive, because the organization ensures that lots of Gold Coast Prep get into Ivy League schools, which makes the prep school look good. Jill attends the school on a scholarship, though she keeps her scholarship a secret. Being around so much wealth and privilege without having any of her own corrupts Jill and makes her so power hungry she joins the Players in order to be popular and cheat her way into Brown.
