On the run from zombies, your environment is important. In a forest, trees can provide cover, and animal noises may alert you to zombie activity. Food is available, and tree branches provide safety for sleep. However, search helicopters are unlikely to spot you and have little area to land. Open plains give zombies a clear view of you and require caution. Stay on the ground and crawl if zombies are visible. Fields with tall crops provide cover but also obscure zombies.
