Summary

Autumn ends and Fourth Wife You's first person narration continues as she plans to marry Third Daughter to Wu Shu. She helps him fix his roof and move Third Daughter's dowry to his house. Third Daughter is extremely excited to marry Wu Shu even though she is shy at first. Fourth Idiot becomes incredibly jealous and insults Wu Shu. He then tells his mother that he wants a wife but Fourth Wife You ignores him for now.

Suddenly. Second Son-in-Law arrives and tells Fourth Wife You that Second Daughter is pregnant and her illness has worsened but he knows how to cure it. Second Son-In-Law tells her that Second Daughter must drink a bone marrow soup made of a relative's remains. Fourth Wife You tells Wu Shu to finish packing up and she leaves with Second Son-In-Law to go dig up the bones...
