Saint Terry and all Wayfarers, Year 25 Of the Wandering State, Spoken by Adam One:

The God’s Gardeners have arrived at the Edencliff Rooftop Garden to rest and renew themselves. Adam One reminds them that the day is dedicated to Saint Terry Fox, who outran death to live in memory. Explorers can become martyrs for their communities. Oates’ namesakes sacrificed himself for his people. The Gardeners have lost Darren and Quill. Philo has entered a fallow state on the rooftop of a parking garage and Melissa was eaten by wild dogs. Adam One ends his speech with the hope that these losses will be the group’s last and he calls for a song.
