Summary

Predator Day, Year 25 Of God as the Alpha Predator, Spoken by Adam One:

Adam One talks about the past and how the kids used to decorate the Edencliff rooftop garden with predator images. The Gardeners must now celebrate the festival “in the inner Garden of our Minds” (587). The Waterless Flood has come. The Gardeners are in the basement of the Buenavista Condo Complex, but must move on as their Ararat has run out. However, they will first take a moment to celebrate “God the Tiger” (588). God is figured as a defender, and as a wild Being. Predators are blessed. Adam One reminds everyone that it is better to be a predator than to be prey. He then ends his speech by calling for a song.
