Chapter 1: A Sweet New Year – Pacy and her family, originally from Taiwan but now living in New Hartford, New York, are called all night by relatives still living in Taiwan to wish them a Happy Chinese New Year. Pacy’s older sister Lissy and their Mom are in the kitchen cooking delicious food while Pacy teachers her younger sister, Ki-ki, how to draw a dog to celebrate The Year of the Dog.
