Summary

In Chapter 21, Anthony wonders how he could have been responsible for the fire. He thinks that this proves that there is a connection between the hit-and-run accident and the murders. He also wonders whether Amanda Leigh is relevant to the case. He gets mad at himself for following Hawthorne and decides to take the lead himself. He talks to the associate director of RADA who tells him about Damian. She describes him as being very ambitious, manipulative, and a good actor. She also tells him that Damian used the accident in Deal in a class project. It had included the song that came out of the recording in his mother's coffin. The associate director, who does not want her real name to appear in the book, says that she felt as if Damian used it as a prop. They talk about Amanda Leigh...
