Marian and Walter immediately go to Mrs. Clements' address and remind her that Walter helped Anne escape the men searching for her when she left the asylum. After earning her trust, Mrs. Clements tells them all she knows. She harbored Anne in London, then in Grimsby until Anne learned about Laura's wedding announcement then she insisted on going to Blackwater Park to tell Laura a secret about Sir Percival.
