Summary

The action is continuous. There is no scene break.

As the conversation resumes, 8 asks whether the others were “talking about the Khmer Rouge” (23). As they try out different pronunciations, 46 tries to join the conversation; 7 tells her to shut up; 14 tries to check in with 7, but 7 says nothing.

As the Khmer Rouge conversation continues, 14 says she does not know what the Khmer Rouge was. The teammates suggest they were the equivalent of Nazis in Cambodia in the 1970’s. 11 tries to correct misstatements.
