Part Four: The Devil's Bride, Chapters 48-50 Summary

In Chapter 48, Michael meets with Aaron. He talks about the vision and the near accident in San Francisco. Michael expresses his fears about Rowan. Aaron tells Michael that Rowan forbade him to tell Michael about Lasher. They talk more about Lasher and the battle they expect. Aaron gives Michael a medal o f St. Michael, the archangel.

In Chapter 49, Rowan goes to the cemetery to see the Mayfair tomb again. Lasher promises that she will never die. Rowan asks what he promised the other witches. Instead of answering, Lasher reminds Rowan that the dead are no longer here. She is the only one who matters to him now. Lasher tells Rowan to make Michael leave the next day.
