Part One: Come Together, Chapters 9-12 Summary

When Michael wakes in his hotel room, he struggles to remember the previous evening. Aaron is in the parlor of the hotel room. Aaron convinces Michael to go to the Talamasca Motherhouse to read the thick file on the Mayfair witches. Michael leaves word for Rowan that he will call her soon. He promises Aaron he will wait to talk to Rowan until he reads the information about her family history.

In Chapter Ten, Carlotta Mayfair calls Rowan's house looking for Ellie. When she finds out Ellie is dead, she tells Rowan that her mother has died.
