Chapters 3 and 4 Summary

The four of them could have entered Dancruan quietly, but Chime sees a magpie and gives chase. They wait for her while the Caravan goes ahead without them. Sandry enjoys the brief respite as does Briar, stretched out on the grass. A horn blows and he asks Tris to call Chime back. Tris closes her book and announces Chime is returning, chased by nobles and their falconers.
