Hilltop Farm

Hilltop Farm is where Roz spends her time during the first half of the novel after being found and repaired from her time on the island. It is here that Roz meets the Shareef family and develops a close relationship with Mr. Shareef’s children, Jaya and Jad. While on the farm, Roz learns many skills to keep the machines running, protect the cows, and manages to revitalize the farm when Mr. Shareef was unable to complete daily tasks on his own.
