Summary

Clover brings Ira a bouquet of tiger lilies for connecting her with Anthony who has given her some legal hope regarding her custody situation. Ira deflects Clover's attempts to tell him details about her situation because he does not really want to get involved. Later, at the gym, Ira shares Clover's appreciation to Anthony who thinks that Clover is not being realistic about her situation. A few days later, Ira encounters Celestino as Ira is walking home with his arms filled with grocery bags. Celestino helps him carry the bags and Ira invites him in for coffee and to meet Anthony who tries to engage him in conversation but with little success.

One evening when Ira stays late at work, he encounters Turo stowing a canoe underneath the preschool. They chat about school for a little while until Ira has to return to...
