Summary

Madoka is in a hotel room in Stockholm, wearing a wig and talking to the robot caregiver she uses as a model during presentations. The robot is called PEPPER. Madoka eats dinner while talking to PEPPER. She tells PEPPER that she does not want to be a mother, and that she is afraid that, when Yoshi goes to Mars, that will be the most interesting thing about her. Worst of all, she worries deep down that Yoshi does not love her, because he does not really know her.

On Primitus, a simulation of a solar storm begins, and the astronauts must hide in the small tube that runs down the center of the spacecraft. Sergei remembers his father's death, and becomes briefly annoyed with Helen who is not taking the simulation very seriously. He reminds himself he must...
