Chapter 15 Summary

Harper tells Reacher that Alison Lamarr has been murdered and that Blake wants Reacher back on the case—that Blake believes his theory now about the eleven women on the list. They fly out to Seattle.

When they get to Alison Lamarr's house, Blake makes them walk him through what they did on their visit. Blake wants to know if there is anything different from when they came to see Alison. In the garage, Reacher notices that the washing machine box is open now but was sealed when they visited. Additionally, Reacher also remembers that Alison already had a brand new washing machine installed in the kitchen. Blake says now they know how he's transporting the paint—delivering it ahead of time in a washing machine box.

Blake has agents check the other crime scenes. They call to confirm that all three previous dead women...
