Chapter 11 Summary

The helicopter lands in New York City, where a car drives him to Chinatown. The driver tells him that he'll be back to pick him up in three hours.

Reacher spends almost the entire three hours looking for couples. In the last few minutes, he spots two men and he knows they are who he has been looking for all this time. Reacher watches as the two Chinese guys, one with a satchel and one with a spiral notebook and pen, go from business to business to collect protection money. When Reacher only has a few minutes left before he has to meet the driver, he grabs the two men and pushes them into an alley. He pulls his gun and tells them that Petrosian owns this street now. Reacher takes the satchel full of money from the men and leaves.
