The New York Public Library is where Zoe decides to host the CARE event banquet. The NYPL is a very public, very attention-getting venue that turns the focus of millions on the evening. It is at the NYPL that Zoe has an encounter with Molly who recognizes her, while Zoe denies being Hilary. It is from the NYPL that Zoe heads home with Henry, determined to find a way to mitigate the damage done to her carefully constructed life of hiding from her past.
