The Struggle, Chapters 13-14 Summary

Chapter Thirteen of The Vampire Diaries begins with two extracts from Elena's new diary, where she is talking about how confused and scared she is about her inability to stop both Caroline and Damon. She also reveals how she is scared for herself if she gives in to Damon and what it will mean for Stefan. She decides to sneak out of the house early and tell Stefan everything that has been happening, including her meal with Damon and his feeding on her.

At the boarding house, when she meets Stefan she finds him worried and, when he hears that Elena's diary has been stolen and that Caroline is behind it, he is furious. Elena is scared of what he will do if he finds out about Damon and herself sharing blood. Sh realizes that she simply...
