Faith

Faith is a single mother of two children, Richard and Tonto. She has had two husbands, Livid and Pallid, with whom she still stays in contact. She also has a boyfriend named Clifford, but he struggles to care for Faith’s children. Faith invites her ex-husbands to her house on weekends, and they discuss many topics, and the ex-husbands have a chance to interact with the children. Faith enjoys embroidery, and she has strong political opinions, which she rarely expresses. Faith struggles to reconcile her parenthood and romantic life with the importance she places on being independent.

Faith’s relationship with Livid is complicated, in that they often are at odds with each other, but there still appears to be mutual respect between them.
