Summary

After having sex, Ethan and Olive go downstairs for lunch. Olive catches Ethan smiling at her and when she asks him why, he tells her he was just having a moment. When she asks again, he clarifies, "Oh, Yeah. About that. Was just freaking out a little over having sex with you" (244). His comment is so bashful and honest that Olive thinks he's joking. They start to discuss their recent activities when suddenly Sophie appears at their table. She asks about their day and Ethan tells her they spent the day inside. Olive loudly adds "in bed"(245). Sophie looks at Ethan and then asks if they could get drinks later to talk. Olive realizes that Sophie asks Ethan singularly, and that evidently Billy and herself are not included in this invitation.
