Summary

Part One: Writer’s Disease (Eight Months Before the Book’s Publication), continued

Chapter 25: About Nola – Harry explains to Marcus that one becomes a writer by not giving up. The volunteer fire department arrives to contain the fire in the detached garage. Marcus explains what has happened to Travis Dawn. Another ‘go home’ note is found in the door of the house. Travis decides to leave a unit at the house overnight. Travis believes things may only get worse. The next day, Marcus goes to see Harry to reveal what has happened. Harry is wearing thin from bring in prison already. Marcus realizes it will kill him, and vows to free Harry. Marcus gets Harry to talk about Nola again. Harry explains Nola filled up an emptiness inside him, but he needed to get Nola out of his head...
