Summary

In Chapter 28, Kins announces that they are not going to get their search warrant for Graham's apartment because the Portland Police are now investigating a homicide there. Tracy and Kins arrive at the scene and identify the woman they had seen meeting Graham for lunch. They learn her name was Megan Chen. She is dead in the bed. Tracy is immediately skeptical. Working on the assumption that Graham had something to do with Devin's murder, she questions why he would then shoot a woman in his own bed. Graham had called police when he found the woman dead, claims he is being framed, and is prepared to turn himself in on the condition that he talks only to Tracy.

In Chapter 29, Portland officers reluctantly give in to Graham's demand. Tracy meets him at his attorney's office. Graham recounts the events of the day...
