Chapter 33. Lorraine remembers good times with Sarah when they got along. Grace fills her time with chores others could do, taking joy from providing healthy meals to her husband.

Chapter 34. Dor comes to life during a festival in a small Spanish town, frightening a young boy. Dor runs away and slowly discovers that the hourglass in his hands controls time. Dor can slow down time so that he might walk among man and explore modern machinery without notice.

Chapter 35. Sarah and Ethan finally get together at his uncle's food warehouse. Ethan provides vodka and they kiss. The more they drink, the more they kiss, but Sarah will not go further than kisses. On Monday, however, she wonders if she made a mistake. She decides to get Ethan...
