The daughter of the King of England, Henry VII, Margaret is betrothed to James, King of Scotland when she is just twelve years old. Soon after her twelfth birthday, Margaret is sent to Scotland to become the wife of James IV and to become Queen. Margaret loves the attention and the adoration of the people and understands the potential for pageantry. Toward this end, Margaret sets up situations that will help her reach her particular goals. Margaret is somewhat fickle, though it can be argued that she wants nothing so much as the dedication of a husband.
