Summary

In Chapter 34, Masa Kanagawa had been hired to make a set of iron dentures. Even though the creation of such a cruel device seemed wrong, Masa made it because the money he made from side jobs such as that one helped to feed his family.

Harry had begun to feel content again with Rakel back home. She showed no signs of her illness recurring. Even though the vampirist case was said to be solved, there was still something about it that nagged at Harry.

Meanwhile, Svein Finne walked into the cemetery and stopped in front of Valentin’s grave. He had stayed away from Valentin at Ila because he knew that Valentin was his son. Svein thought about how he had been contacted by a man who had reawakened his need to kill. He also wanted to get revenge on Harry.
