Summary

In Chapter 17, Harry told Katrine that he wanted Wyller and Bjørn for his group. He told her he was going to ask Smith to act as the fourth member of the group. Harry had his group start by sharing their theory of the murders, regardless of how out of touch their ideas seemed. Later in Harry’s day, he remembered he had forgotten to return Rakel’s call. He called her cell phone and got her doctor. The doctor said that she was in a coma.

In Chapter 18, Steffens told Harry that he’d had to put Rakel in a coma because she was beginning to have trouble breathing. He was not sure what was wrong with her. Because Harry needed a distraction to fight off the feeling that he needed a drink, Harry asked Steffens why he had been assigned...
