Eugene Field Memorial Middle School

Eugene Field Memorial Middle School is the school where Suzy went to school beginning her sixth grade year, the year that she and Franny grew apart, and her seventh grade year, after Franny died.

The Jellyfish Exhibit

While the other kids in her class were at the touch tank at the aquarium Suzy wandered down to the jellyfish exhibit. As she studied information at this exhibit Suzy decided it must have been a jellyfish sting that caused Franny to drown.

Ming Palace

Ming Palace is the Chinese restaurant where Suzy and her father always ate during their Saturday visits. Suzy copied the information from her father’s credit card when he left it on the table to pay for their meal and went to the bathroom here. She planned to use the information to buy an airplane ticket to Australia.
