Westmarch

Westmarch is the part of the kingdom that Owen rules. It includes Tatton Hall. It also includes the village of St. Penryn, which is near the flooded town of Leoneyis. According to legend, this is the place from which the Dreadful Deadman will rise. Owen spends some time in this location with his army as Severn's opponents are attacking other parts of the kingdom, but Owen refuses to leave Penryn, correctly believing that something important will happen here. In the final scene of this novel, Owen and Etayne are present at Penryn when Kathryn gives birth to a son. The baby is stillborn. Owen uses his magic to revive him, fulfilling the prophecy of the return of the Dreadful Deadman.
