Part III A Collision of Worlds, Chapters 26-28 Summary

At the start of Chapter 26 'Wolf in the Box,' Jack swims into consciousness long enough to see that he is in Sunlight Gardener's private office where the manager of the Wayward Home, Sonny and Hector Bast are gloating over their apparent victory. Jack overhears Sunlight say that Jack has had enough tranquilliser to keep him asleep until that evening, and that Wolf is being kept in the box.
