Summary

Chapter 7 began with the legend of the luau-themed Club party. Toward the end of the night, Isobel publicly broke off her engagement to Clay. The Countess ordered Miranda to find him. When she did, he was drunk and distraught. He expressed his affection for Miranda while she consoled him. He kissed her, and she did not stop him. He exposed her breast and fondled her until Livy Huxley found them. Both Miranda and Clay ran off to find Isobel. Miranda found her in Chapter 8, and Isobel insisted they walk home.
