Eph, Nora, and Setrakian manage to gain access to Jamaica Hospital to see Jim Kent. They see Jim’s girlfriend, Sylvia, there as well. Nora distracts her, while Eph and Setrakian discover that Jim is gone. Eph swaps his cell phone for Jim’s. In the back of a prisoner transport van, Gus looks at Felix. Felix begins feeding on one of the prisoners. When the guards look through an open partition, Felix begins feeding on the driver. The van swerves and crashes, and Gus jumps out. One of the cops attempts to shoot Felix, but Felix descends on him. Gus rushes away. Gus realizes that his friend is a vampire. He kills the police officers so they will not turn.

Kelly is horrified by the news stories about Eph. Matt believes it is a ploy...
