Summary

Jaya visits an orphanage with Ravi. She is appalled by the poor conditions. Ravi tells her that orphans who survive past the age of six are brought to the orphanage, where they receive lackluster care from well-meaning employees who are short-staffed. Jaya later goes on a tour bus. She talks to the tour guide driver, Mona, and finds out she started the company by herself. Mona tells Jaya, “We are a country that’s trying to keep up with the rest of the westernized world. Knowing that, there is an eagerness to open all avenues for everyone, regardless of gender.
