Claude Summary

Claude watches Edgar writhing on the floor in front of him. He reflects on the night in Pusan, about the first time he saw the poison in action. Claude also realizes that he needs to get out of the barn. Claude struggles to get out, but gets lost in the smoke.

Claude has waited around too long to be able to get out of the barn. In his own delight in watching Edgar die, he becomes lost in the smoke and cannot find his way out. His own demons have at last caught up with him.
