Summary

The chapter begins with an intro called "The Tell-Tale Heart," a piece written by E.A. (Edgar Allan) Poe. Similar to the Chapter 9 intro, A.J.'s Chapter 10 notes are more about his life than on the book. He shares that Nic died in a car accident, as well as some details about their time together in graduate school. His colleagues--two deputies, a dispatch worker, and a homicide cop--join him in the club.
