Viv goes into cabin number three and takes a shower. Bond joins her a few minutes later and soon they are in bed together. Viv thinks to herself that Bond is very exciting but not a man she can have a commitment with. Viv is okay with this even though she believes herself in love with him. Bond goes to sleep, but Viv lies awake for a time. Viv sees someone in the window and tries to wake Bond. Bond is already awake and goes running out of the cabin naked. When Bond returns, he tells her Sluggsy survived the crash, but is dead now. Bond and Viv make love once more and then go to sleep.
