Summary

In Chapter Thirty-Four, Amanda is looking through her notes in the Gritten Police Department wondering where Paul is. They learned about his hotel room but sent another officer to check his mother’s house when they did not find him. It is revealed that James struggled after the murder and had even been homeless. When Carl inherited money, they moved to Brenfield and let James live with them. However, there are records that police were called on Eileen. Amanda believes that James was wrapped up in his trauma and wonders if he was behind the CC666 account. Dwyer arrives and says Paul was not at his mother’s house.
