Daniel is anxious and cannot sleep. He is in doubt whether to present himself to Mr. Aguilar or not. He is also anxious about the outcome of his confrontation with Nuria.

He tells his father he is going out for a walk and leaves to find Nuria Monfort. He is riddled with guilt about once again lying to his father, but Fermin convinces him it will be all right.

Daniel arrives at Nuria Monfort's apartment and with great bravado confronts her. He tells her that he knows that she has been the one receiving Julian's mail. When asked he admits that he has told lots of people about the story. He also says that he has been in the Aldaya mansion and thinks that Jorge Aldaya is.....
