Despite all that had happened, the next morning all Daniel could think of was Bea and seeing her later on in the day. Much to his surprise, Fermin, who should still be recuperating, walks into the bookstore. He seems to be better, but is still very weak. Daniel and his father beg Fermin to take things easy.

Later that afternoon, Daniel runs to meet Bea at the old deserted Aldaya house, the Angel of the Mist. He gets there early, before Be. The house is cold, so he goes of in search of a way to warm it up. He finds an old boiler, which amazingly lights on first try. Most of the radiators in the house were no longer working, but Daniel found one is a small.....
