Galvadon

Galvadon is the first setting in the novel. It is where the girls return to after their first year in the School for Good and Evil. It is where Sophie believes she and Agatha will live out their happy ending. However, she personally feels that she does not belong, especially with her own family as her father prepares to marry a woman he cheated with in his last marriage. Agatha also feels alienated within the town, causing her to wish for a new ending. The elders within the town are not afraid to use their power, as proven by their willingness to abandon Sophie to assassins or burn women alive in an attempt to stop the kidnappings. The town is surrounded by an Endless Wood where the girls are able to find the Flowerground to escape.
