Summary

Sophie watches Agatha’s guard, pondering how hard Sophie had tried to stay good. However, she sees that Agatha does not move from her post. A spell temporarily turns out all the lights, including the natural light from the woman. She then sees Agatha fall on a sword and a pumpkin head rolls off. Sophie knows that she has been tricked. Meanwhile, Agatha ignores the witch’s orders and rushes to the halfway bridge. Sophie mogrifies to a hawk and hits a shield just outside of the boy’s castle.
