Chapters 31 - Epilogue Summary

In Chapter 31, the setting is Williamson's where Gus and Marcus stop to get supplies. The men glance at each other when MJ asks where they are from and they give a nondescript answer. The men ask if there's a place to stay after MJ tells them the power and phone lines are out. Bob returns while MJ helps the men find a cell phone charger. As Gus and Marcus were leaving, they ask MJ if they have seen their tall, athletic friend.

Chapter 32 sheds light back at the church. David gets ready to speak to his congregation. The audience applauses when he steps out heading to the pulpit. He is caught off guard by their support and stumbles over his words. He interrupted by Chet, who wants to speak to the congregation. David pleads with him to stop talking...
