Chapters 11 - 20 Summary

The setting in Chapter 11 is Huntsville, Texas where Michael stops after driving for an hour. He looks at his wounds in the restroom and feels dizzy. Michael buys medical supplies in the gas station, bandages his wounds, and gets gas before he notices the attendant's name, "Christine." He gets coffee at McDonald's before heading out of town and watching out for cops. Rolling down the window and having fresh air remind him of his college days. He plans the ideal escape to Christine's cabin.

Elliot's men check in with him, they have been tailing Michael's moves. He calls his daughter after midnight looking for Michael. Amelia tells him that Michael is not there and complains that Michael is being distant. Elliot tries to comfort her.
