Summary

In Chapter 28, Todd and Hadley slept together. Afterward, they went for bagels and Hailey questioned him about the law clinic. She told him that she had discovered that he, Mark and Zola were not registered with the bar council. She said she had also checked with the law schools from which the three claimed to have gotten their degrees but none of the schools had any information on file about them. She claimed that she would not report them and would instead help if she could. Todd immediately told Mark that Hadley knew about their scam.

Meanwhile, Ramon got arrested for DUI and hired Cromley as his lawyer for that charge. Ramon told Cromley that Mark, his lawyer in his medical malpractice suit, was dodging him. Cromley advised Ramon that medical malpractice was one of his specialties as well.
