Mandy

Mandy is the only one of her three sisters to have stayed on the island of Nantucket. She met her husband, Cory, in college, and the two are now married with two children. Though she wants to get out of the house and do more work to feel fulfilled, she is discouraged by Cory, who neglects, mocks, and eventually cheats on her throughout the novel. Despite the lack of love in her marriage, Mandy's character is warm, kind, and down to earth.
