Summary

Scene 12 opens in the garage where Ui and Roma planned to meet, but Ui is running late. Roma consoles Inna, a favorite of his, and ensures him that Ui will be there soon. Shorty, another one of Roma’s men, brings news that the cops are on patrol, which makes the men nervous. Roma believes Giri and Givola sold out Ui, and that is why the police sent out vehicles, so he gets ready to leave the garage and fight his way to warn Ui. They hear cars, and thinking it’s the police, they all raise their weapons and get ready for a shootout. However, as the cars pull up, it is Arturo and Givola who exit them.

Sighing with relief, Roma goes to shake Ui’s hand, but the moment he does, Givola unholsters a weapon and shoots Roma. Ui, clearly...
