Summary

In Chapter 19, Sang Ly asks Sopeap if she can read the children's book she gave her. Sopeap agrees, as long as Sang Ly reads it to Nisay. Sang Ly agrees, as long as Sopeap agrees to listen. While Sang Ly is reading the book, called Love Forever, Sopeap disappears. She comes back the next day to cancel their lesson. Sang Ly tries to return the book, but Sopeap refuses it. Finally she tells Sang Ly she and her friend wrote the story together about her and her son prior to the revolution. The soldiers killed her friend because of the book, and burned most of its copies. Later, Narin stops by to tell Sang Ly she heard that Sopeap is very ill, and receiving treatment at the hospital. Narin says she does not have much time left.
