Summary

Laurent wakes up in the morning, surprised to find that Dominique isn’t there. He catches her as she’s leaving. She’s upset, since she found a hairpin belonging to Laure. Laurent tries to explain, but she doesn’t believe his story and she angrily leaves. Laurent tries to call her, but she doesn't respond. He goes to work and checks his email, setting up a meeting with his young daughter, Chloe. Afterwards, he meets with his best friend, Pascal. They talk about the bag, and Pascal chastises him for being so interested in it. He tells Laurent he should focus on Dominique, since she’s actually in his life and not just some mystery woman.
