Summary

Oscar gets up in the morning and feeds the cats downstairs. Then he goes up and begins cleaning up, trying hard not to remember anything. Madame Catherine and Master Thomas arrive, and promise a carpenter will be by to replace the wall soon. Then, crouching in front of him so that they are at eye level with each other, Master Thomas asks him what happened. He closes his eyes and begins to tell them about the monster, answering their questions as well as he can. After hearing his account, they promise to apply all of their resources to finding the creature and destroying it along with whomever or whatever created it.

Callie arrives after they leave, and stunned at the damage she asks if he is alright. They she picks up a broom and begins to help him clean up, still wondering...
